The Yellowstone Association is the National Park Service’s primary partner in providing education in Yellowstone.

Xanterra Parks and Resorts is the operator of lodges, restaurants, gift shops, and activities at Yellowstone. Xanterra and the Yellowstone Association Institute offer a wide variety of award-winning “Lodging and Learning” programs at park hotels.

THE UNITED STATES FOREST SERVICE  
To help visitors understand the entire Yellowstone ecosystem, the Yellowstone Association offers Institute courses on the Gallatin, Caribou-Targhee, and Shoshone National Forests under a Special Use Permit administered by the Gardiner Ranger District.

ASSOCIATION OF PARTNERS FOR PUBLIC LANDS
The Yellowstone Association is one of over 60 national park cooperating associations serving more than 300 areas in the national park system.  Many of these organizations, as well as non-profit organizations supporting education on other public lands such as areas administered by the U.S. Forest Service or the Bureau of Land Management, are members of the Association of Partners for Public Lands.
